The Manitoba Business Investor Stream enables the province to attract and nominate capable business investors and entrepreneurs from across the globe who possess both the ambition and capacity to initiate new ventures or acquire existing businesses in Manitoba. The revamped Business Investor Stream is designed to guarantee that all business nominees make investments in enterprises that not only generate employment opportunities within Manitoba but also bolster the province’s economic growth. They can either purchase a business or enter into partnerships with established businesses within the initial 24 months of their arrival in Canada on a temporary work permit.
This segment of New Brunswick’s Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) is tailored for competent foreign entrepreneurs with a keen interest in owning and actively overseeing a business venture that will make a positive impact on New Brunswick’s economy. The initial stage in this procedure involves submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the New Brunswick Department of Post Secondary Education, Training, and Labour.
Following a thorough evaluation of the application’s adherence to the fundamental requirements, each applicant is assigned a score based on a range of criteria. The most highly ranked candidates are then extended invitations to proceed with their applications for a provincial nomination through the NBPNP.
The BC Entrepreneur Program offers a unique opportunity for eligible individuals and families to relocate to the Canadian province of British Columbia and establish and run their own small businesses. This program is an integral part of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and is ideally suited for seasoned business owners and managers who possess the financial resources and expertise to either establish or enhance a Canadian enterprise.
The primary aim of the program is to stimulate economic growth and job creation in British Columbia. Immigrant entrepreneurs selected for this program are granted a two-year work permit. During this period, it is a requirement for the entrepreneur to actively manage their business for a minimum of 18 months. Participants who successfully fulfill all the basic requirements for business immigration in British Columbia become provincial nominees, making both themselves and their family members eligible for expedited permanent residency in Canada. While it is anticipated, it is not mandatory for provincial nominees to continue operating their businesses while residing in British Columbia.
To be eligible for participation in the British Columbia Investor Program, an entrepreneur must be able to invest a minimum of CAD $200,000 in either a new business or, in some cases, an existing business that the applicant intends to enhance. The business must also result in the creation of at least one new job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Additionally, the applicant must reside in close proximity to the business and oversee its daily operations.
